Welcome to Adventure Church!
The idea of visiting any new place may leave you feeling a bit anxious. But we also understand that you’ve decided to check us out because you’re interested in God.
Our desire and hope is that during your time with us, you’ll experience God and know that He is real and good!
We have two services on Sundays: 9:00 and 11:00 AM. We encourage you to choose the service time that best meets the needs of you and/or your family. There are children and youth programs available during our 11:00 AM service.
At Adventure the time we spend in fellowship is very important to us so we encourage you to stay late or come early but join us from 10:05-10:50 in the Fellowship Hall for coffee and a snack – but mainly good conversations.
When you visit Adventure Church, you can expect…
Informal worship service
No need to dress up, jeans are fine. We have great programs for all ages (more information below) and the total program is about 90 minutes.
We begin with music and worship for the first 20-25 minutes. Feel free to sit or stand, whatever you feel comfortable with. Next will be a welcome and brief announcements. Then a message from the Bible will be shared by one of the pastors. Topics will often rotate and are usually in a series over 4-6 weeks.
An offering is our regular part of worship
An offering is our expression of worship and thanksgiving to God who owns it all. We consider it to be the responsibility of those who consider Adventure their church home. So when you are first visiting Adventure, please don’t worry about offering.
Communion (the Lord’s Supper)
About once a month (normally the third Sunday of each month), we celebrate Communion. All those who have chosen to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus as their Leader and Forgiver are welcome to participate. Not sure? Or if you choose not to participate in Communion, no problem. No one will notice you. Just stay in your seat and enjoy our worship team playing up front.
During the 11:00 Service, we have Early Childhood Ministry (Cub Den) for infants through first grade and Elementary Ministry (Pride) for 2nd through 5th grades. The Pride and Youth groups attend their own service and programs in the Fellowship Hall building beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Cub Den is housed on the first floor of the Main Building (Sanctuary building). When you come, just ask the greeters at the door for directions. During the 8:45 Service your children are welcome to join you.
Sunday service is in downtown Duvall just a few blocks off of Main St NE [SR 203]:
