The Epistle to the Hebrews is a book shrouded in mystery. The author is unknown, the audience is speculative, even the format is uncertain. One thing is clear, though, the author is convinced that Jesus is better, better than all that came before, better than any sacrifice, offering, or teaching. Jesus is the “radiance of God’s glory and the exact imprint of his being”. Join us over the coming weeks as we dig deeper into this epistle and “fix our eyes on Jesus”. We will see the many ways that the author instructs believers to “hold fast” to Jesus, to “encourage one another”, and to draw near to God. Though the circumstances of this life tempt us to shrink back, together we can hold firm to our faith in Jesus.
